She is an adopted daughter of our family friends. She lives in Europe and I once met her when she and her parents were visiting New Mexico. She must have grown a lot since then.
I was born and raised in Japan. I don't know if it's clear but I hope the unique sensibility that was nurtured there shows in my creations. My favorite medium is acrylic on canvas, and my subjects come from my surroundings, including still lifes, landscapes, and pets. I live with my husband in Seattle.
