The painting is based on a photo of a cat on a roof. I added tropical trees that I saw during my stay in Florida. Painted in 2010.

About Kazumi Whitemoon
I was born and raised in Japan. I don't know if it's clear but I hope the unique sensibility that was nurtured there shows in my creations. My favorite medium is acrylic on canvas, and my subjects come from my surroundings, including still lifes, landscapes, and pets. I live with my husband in Seattle.
