When I saw this photo and found out about the Goldfish Market in Hong Kong, I had to paint this. The way they display the golfish is so appealing.
I was born and raised in Japan. I don't know if it's clear but I hope the unique sensibility that was nurtured there shows in my creations. My favorite medium is acrylic on canvas, and my subjects come from my surroundings, including still lifes, landscapes, and pets. I live with my husband in Seattle.
